Lasting approximately six years, this global war went from light acts of military invasion, to acts of mass genocide, to utilization of suicide bombers, and even the first visual aspect and use of atomic weapons. While its not hard to attend why the events in this war, or really any war or large scale battle, house be see to ited radical in nature, it is also not uncommon to also question whether certain bodily processs were or were not ethical 1. For instance, it has often been questioned whether the unify States decision to drop 2 atomic bombs on the Nipponese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was ethical or not. While many the great unwashed may struggle with the realization of the aftermath of these events, to me the answer is quite clear. The United States utilization of nuclear weapons against Japan during WWII was neither needed nor ethical.Before any rational discussion or analysis on the topic can be formally begun, I believe it is of relative importance to crystallise exactly what is meant by the word ethical.
